...DRY COLD FRONT SUNDAY EVENING...
.A dry cold front will pass through the area late Sunday
afternoon and Sunday evening. Windy conditions will develop in the
Cascade gaps late in the afternoon before relative humidities
recover above critical thresholds. The winds will affect the
Okanogan Valley beginning in the early evening.

WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE EAST WASHINGTON CENTRAL
CASCADE VALLEYS AND THE EAST WASHINGTON OKANOGAN/METHOW VALLEYS...
The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity...which is in effect
from 5 PM to 10 PM PDT Sunday.
* Affected Area: Fire Weather Zone 677 East Washington Central
Cascade Valleys (Zone 677) and Fire Weather Zone 684 East
Washington Okanogan/Methow Valleys (Zone 684).
* Winds: In the Wenatchee area...Lake Chelan and Methow Valleys
northwest wind 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. In the
Okanogan Valley north wind 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph.
* Relative Humidities: 13 to 23 percent.
* Impacts: Windy conditions with low relative humidities will
promote rapid spread of new or existing fires. Outdoor burning
is strongly discouraged.

Information:
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
